What do NCOs require Soldiers to memorize or know?

Hello Army NCOs, I'm asking for help to dust off an Army NCO Guide App. I'm now commissioned for a number of years and out of touch with what goes on at the squad/platoon level. For the next few days (weeks?) I'm posting this app for free. What do NCOs and Soldiers need to know at all times? Welcoming all feedback & discussion, even if its ugly. http://bit.ly/NCOGuide

Include the Soldier's Creed and NCO Creed somewhere in the app where they can be quickly referenced if for some reason it has been forgotten.

Agreed. While its important for all to know general Army knowledge, and creeds are cute, greater emphasis has to be on the specific tasks for given soldiers based on their functional area, which generally is--though NOT exclusively--expressed through their MOS.
Obviously, cooks need not prepare themselves to fly Apaches as they are wildly different jobs, but as I said, this holds true for those with similar or even the same MOS. For example all Infantry should know their battle drills and weapons for example; despite rarely using some such drills (trench warfare anyone?) or only being assigned to a specific weapon. But not all Grunts need to know mortars (11Cs got this) nor do all 11 series need to be proficient on Strykers or Bradleys (Mech Infantry: Death Before Dismount! Super-Hooah!). And sometimes, as in my last unit, we had several 11Bs farmed out to the S shops, they need to know those jobs even though they are Infantrymen, trained to close with and kill the enemy. Now they close with and kill memos...with EXTREME prejudice!

If your intent is to make a study guide for boards, then add in all your creeds, codes, and ethios that they like you to know. If your intent is to be a guide for real knowledge a soldier needs then I suggest making it something that is a one stop shop for all those common-to-all smart cards soldiers have to memorize like 9 line MEDEVAC, Call for Fire, and that sort of thing.
