recently a police department coin was dropped at a reunion, I believe it should not count. We have very little reserved for us in the military and it seams everyone wants to ad to their department a coin. Not taking away from the depts that have them, but hey its not the military.

As long as the coin is not painted pink and has the Greek letter Lamda on it (Code Pink emblem) or some other socialist liberal group identifier stamped on it, I do not have a problem. After the end of the Great South East Asian vacation, and my time serving our Republic I spent the next 37 years serving the State and local governments in the Emergency Services. Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement. I have no problem with them at all. They are as much my Brothers and Sisters as those who stood and took the first oath with me.

Code Pink not allowed? What about a group you support? I agree that First Responders should be acceptable as we all have the same mission of protecting the nation. Other coins, whether you agree with their mission or not, should be excluded.

CPO Mark Rowell - Right on Chief! Like how many people do we really know who want to sit down and have a drink with someone wearing a set of Pussy lips on their head? They would not have even been allowed in any of the taverns that I ever frequented.

Same here. After my paid vacation in that land far far away, I spent the next 32 in the gaurds and as a county sheriff. A few others were on the same vacation and some in those new vacation spots. Thanks to those who care enough to serve. Stay safe

I'm fine with it extending to Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Paramedics/EMT's.

My highest was from a 2 star in Intelligence, his aid came back and gave it to me after I took them to the hostel. But my most meaningful is from 326th engineers for completing Air Assault school.
