Yes with a waiver from an O-6 or above in the organization you are applying to. A Army Reserve Recruiter knows how to do this. I did this myself with the same codes.

SGT Ji Hong It appears your situation is waiverable. Don't let little things like few recruiters in your area stop you. I've been fighting to get my RE3 waived for 17 years & just found a recruiter last year that was willing to fight like hell to get me back in. Its a long process because the waiver has to go through so many offices, but it if is what you want, it is worth it!

Okay so I had this recruiter contact me a couple months back about my inquiry for reserves, but he didn't ask for my reentry code; I told him what the reasoning was and he said it was a no-go but immediately hung up the phone call. Do I still go after this waiver and keep trying, or do I give up and face the fact that I won't ever get back in?
