Now that the CFC season is in full swing, who are you considering for a donation - and why?
I know, I know...some of you have angst over the CFC, but the fact is it serves as a venue for contributing to an organization you deem worthy of your hard earned dollars.
If you don't like the CFC, then don't comment here. There's a thread entitled "Combined Federal Campaign Solicitation" for your rants...

Thanks for the great comments from SFC Josh Simpson, SGM (Join to see), SFC (Join to see), and CW5 (Join to see)! I really like hearing about the great nonprofits out there that are having a meaningful impact on our military and veteran community!

Fisher House! I have donated to them the past 11 years. Watched them give my grandfather a place to stay for free when he would travel for cancer treatments before he passed away.

SFC Josh Simpson - I agree that Fisher House is one of the most outstanding nonprofits operating in the military and veteran niche. Sorry for the loss of your grandfather...

Online giving is the most convenient and efficient means of giving to the CFC. The convenience of pledging online allows you to complete your pledge to the CFC from the privacy and comfort of your own computer. Finding an organization (and I HIGHLY recommend Project Sanctuary #89990) is easy through the interactive search tool: http://www.cfcnexus.org

Not all regions participate, so please check the website for details.
It’s math made simple! Enter the amount per pay period and decide how much of your total annual donation goes to your designated charity.
