In this day of gender equality at work, what nice things do you do for the opposite gender?

Do you open office doors? Do you open car doors? Do you get a cup of coffee for your opposite gender co-workers? Do you ever buy flowers for co-workers birthdays? Do you say things like, You look nice today?

No, No, No, No, and NO. Good morning is enough. But make sure you do that with everyone Your there to do a Job stick with that.

I make no effort to differentiate between men, women or intersex persons. I hold open doors for anyone; I buy flowers for no one; my coworkers' appearance is only accountable to AR 670-1.

Well that will keep you out of court..haha but also a boring approach. I'm not so sure we have to be completely emotionless... Holding open a door or saying "yes mam" or "yes sir" are still ok even in the civilian markets.

Sue me for growing up the old fashioned way, but a woman is still a woman and chivalry is not dead. I've never gone the route of complimenting a female co-worker's appearance or specifically buying a gift above and beyond an office gift from everyone, but holding a door open, getting coffee, getting something at the printer if I'm up I'd do those for anyone.
