I still remember having 'beer machines' in the barracks (of course this was in Germany in the early 80s), just like the coke machines, only they dispensed beer. Not the most economical, but they sure were handy!

They still had beer in the soda machines when I left Germany in 2005. When to them many a night when we ran out of the good stuff because all the machines sold was Bud Ice.

My company had a beer machine in Panama, along with a bar and satellite TV.
