Hillary
So the other day former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated at a campaign rally for Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley, told the crowd, "Don't let anybody tell you that it's corporations and businesses that create jobs," going on to say trickle-down economics "has failed rather spectacularly."

So I'm a little confused! Just who exactly creates jobs?

Well...I have to disagree with most here. I feel that a lot of people have been brainwashed to believe that someone else is always responsible for your success or failure for that matter. Government believes that they are responsible for all positive gains in society and the corporation believes that they are responsible for all. Interesting...then we have the supply vs. demand argument with arguments on both sides.

I believe that it is the individual that creates jobs. For without the creative development of the individual there wouldn't be a demand or a supply. There would be no need for government infrastructure improvements. Individuals like Edison created things that not only never existed before, but no one ever even thought could exist. Then there was a demand for the light bulb and the need for infrastructure as well as an overwhelming desire to take the credit for it.

Edison, Jobs, Disney, Ford, etc. Their ideas create jobs. Just my humble opinion.

MSgt (Join to see) Hillary says whatever she thinks will get her elected or to sell a book. She also has never really had a job beyond the theoretical kind even at Rose Law Firm which burned down if I am not mistaken. I was stationed in Little Rock and she was hated even back then.

Small businesses given the chance create jobs. My mom has been fortunate enough to be able to hire help for the first time since her business opened in 2000. I'm so proud of her, she is finally living her dream.

How is it that with so many people that, "know" everything, we can't get a damn thing done in this country??
