In Texas, either Ft Bliss (Andress, Chapin, Del Valle, Montwood) or Ft Sam Houston (Churchill, O'Connor, Reagan).

You'd have good luck in Texas, Florida, or California (in general). Every college in the country recruits in those states. Seeing that you're Army, there are some good programs here in Northern Virgina (& DC, S. Maryland) especially the private Catholic schools. (Good Counsel, DeMatha, St. John's). So, Fort Beloir, Fort Myer, Pentagon, etc would work. Based on your question, I'm assuming that he wants to play after high school. If that's the case, just make sure he plays, early...and against good competition and stands out. Also, keep his grades up (good enough to get into an Ivy league or Service Academy). If he's not being recruited by D-I early in his junior year (actual offers, not just mailings), it will be time to look elsewhere and that's where grades come into play. My son wanted to play college football, but he also wanted to major in engineering. Engineering and football don't mix at most colleges, including Ivy League programs. Check out the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. There are also some good D-II programs (Col. School of Mines, Florida Tech, etc...basically all of the state engineering schools). My boy is currently a midshipman at the USMMA (and playing football) and it was the best decision he could have made. (including to going to UPenn, which was recruiting him and flat out discouraged him from studying engineering because it would interfer with football.) Good luck.

You seem a bit old to be playing high school ball :P but Ft Hood, from what I remember has a few options around it being Texas and all. Baylor's right down the road too if you ever want to see a good college game as well.

“I’m not as good as I once was, but I’m as good once as I ever was!” Lol

You’re right, I’m looking for my son.

Thanks for the comment!
