I was reserved prior to joining active and In terms of living active is better cause it have me a place to live and meals. I have 2 more years before my ets and part of me wants to join agr but i dont know how it treats single soldiers like me. If i were to join agr is that something to do when your married or is there the means to provide housing?

Allow me to allay your fears. I was AD working with a very large Alabama NG unit. I saw no discrimination based on marital status. Your job is to focus on daily operations and preparing the MDAY soldiers for drill and AT. Your pay will be in the AD pay system, thus, you will be paid like the soldiers on AD.
