If you fly Apaches you're going to rotate between Fort Campbell / Fort Hood and Korea and the Gulf. Lots more places to go if you fly Blackhawks or Chinooks, at least so far as I know.

Why don't you google Army Aviation units, for yourself. AV units are in a flux, trading UH-60 for Apache's etc.

I have SGM I was more so wondering if there was anybody in the units currently I'm looking to go to see what kind of airframes their seeing most on the base. There's not much information online about which base having this certain aircraft over the other and was hoping other at different units would provide incite.

The Army has retired the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior and replaced it with Apache's. There is no plan to replace UH-60 with AH-64, the Apache has no lift capabilities, it's a scout and attack platform. All of the current airframes are due to be replaced by Future Vertical Lift in the next big transition, but that is a few years away.

MAJ Hugh Blanchard Most NG units have been forced to trade their AH-64 for UH-60.

Just FYI so you don't sound like you have no clue what is the difference... Army has "Airfields" (as in Wheeler Army Airfield in Hawaii or Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia) as far as their aircraft not "Bases" unless its a Joint Base like McChord AFB and Fort Lewis in Washington (JBLM), other joint bases are AFBs and Navy Bases
