Anything specifically required, besides a bachelors degree, in order to transition branches and commission in the Army as an FA?
With your Artillery back ground you could be highly successful as an OD officer serving in ammunition billets.
My former platoon commander in the Marines was a CJ major. But I guess from what you’re saying it’s picking from the lot of what they need filling. Just makes sense to me seeing as I’ve been through the artillery school houses why not carry that experience over
I found these, in case you'd care to glance at them, I didn't know if any of them might be of interest at all....

Warrant Officer Prerequisites and Duty Description 131A - Field Artillery Technician Duties: The Field Artillery Warrant Officer advices the Commander and staff on all matters relative to the employment of target acquisition assets and the Army's targeting methodology.
This looked interesting from from an ARNG warrant FA standpoint...obviously, I didn't know if you might find this of interest, I'd also wondered if you might be able to do this as AGR or Guard Tech, maybe Reserve Tech, possibly, just a thought, you know? I mean, it'd give you another possible route, maybe through Army WOCS, though I'm unsure how ARNG handles warrant training, I know there are separate ARNG OCS programs, I'm not entirely sure about ARNG WOCS programs, you know? Maybe they use the regular Army WOCS, then change somebody over to ARNG...I just found it of interest, I didn't know if you might also as well....

This explicitly lists USMC FA commissioned, I think the code is 0802...apparently, the training is with Army anyway at Ft. Sill, so there quite clearly seems to be Army-USMC overlap, which, having been USMC FA, you likely were aware of, I merely mention this as it would seem to be pretty spot on with your interests, you know?
