It is where you go to receive your actual assignment once you hit the base. Thank you for your service.

You don't have a choice... You are going to both. 10th repo depot to inprocess Ft Drum and the 10th Infantry Division (Climb to Glory!). After done nprocesaing, you will go to your ACTUAL assignment at 10th CAB.

When I spoke to my branch manager she had told me what is available at drum. 10TH CAB or 10th MTN Replacement Center. Being a commo guy going to an aviation unit, what should I expect?

You might be put into an s6 shop in one of the battalions there. SGT (Join to see)

SGT (Join to see) Probably to do commo stuff with helicopters. Not sure exactly what 25Q does, but expect to work on 25Q type stuff that is installed in helicopters or for land-based personnel (emergency radios for pilots, support HMMWVs, TOCs, etc.).

The replament center is basicly a one stop shop kind of thing.
Make sure that you have all of your own 201file With all of your Awards and schools. To fix the shit that is going to be messed up.
Every thing but C.I.F. ( This is the worst one I have ever been thur. If it is not brand new do not take it. They have been known to issue after markit or past dat issue iteams then deny that they issued it too you.
Post briefing's I.E. Post rule's GET AND KEEP YOUR BLUE BOOK.
A sponsor from you new unit should contact you. The day you are too be there.
You may want to call your new BN to let them know when you expect to be there.
That way your sponsor can meet up with you. They dont not have a place for you to stay At replacement. Ther is a Hotel next to the Bob Evens resturant I think it is a marriott.
I stayed ther both times I was at Drum. They where good to Military.
You do all your medical updates.
Hearing,Shots, RECORDS.
Housing if you are not single.
If you have household goods when and where to send them.
Get your travel pay.
All of this can be done in as little as three days to seven.
