Was looking into TACP, JTAC and ALO but the odds are terribly low for that right now.

Even if you transfer into the Army OCS, there is no guarantee in regard to which branch you get. However, you can serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment as a LT or CPT of many other branches.

You would have to get a conditional release from the AF to go to Army OCS, once in OCS your OML ranking will determine what branch you get. Infantry is somewhat competitive so you will need to be a stud to get your branch choice and go to 75th. You could also ETS and then apply for OCS as prior service.

I see you have a bachelors degree. That’s a good start toward being an officer. Before heading in a specific direction, such as Army infantry, determine your life goals. Pick a Service and speciality that will help you reach those goals. You should research commissioning programs in the Services that fit your goals. Information normally available on Service web sites. If your goal is to lead troops in combat as an officer then Army and Marines have most opportunities. AF has one primary: pilot. The Navy has several specialties leading to battle command at sea including surface warfare, submarine, and aviation. Think it over. Choose carefully. Have a backup plan. Be tenacious.
