Are there any PMCs or WPS security contractors willing to sponsor those with expired clearances?

Most overseas contracts require secret security clearances, which I used to have. Unfortunately mine expired shortly after I left the service. Am I SOL, or are there any companies willing to take a chance on a sure bet with no criminal history and plenty of experience?
