I received a payment of 1 cent from the Army National Guard. I understand some financial institutions will deposit a low amount like this into someone’s account for verification purposes. But I don’t think that’s the case this time.

Did you read your LES? Did you contact your NCOs? Without seeing your LES no one here can give you a clear answer. All we here can do is assume you have a serious debt you are needing to pay back.

I did read my LES. I don’t have any debt, and the LES does not state anything about deduction for debt. I have not contacted my NCOs yet.

Every once in a while, the Army pays us what we're worth, just to keep us in check ;o)

What does it say on your LES? We didn't take classes from Nancy Drew, what were the entitlements and the deductions?

I am indeed in the dark with many things about the military, being as I just got out of BCT a few months ago. What’s disheartening is if someone would read my original question and assume I’m being lazy. Some questions are much more efficiently answered on this site, with many knowledgeable people here glad to help within minutes.

There are no remarkable entitlements or deductions (to include debt payment) on the LES.

1LT Alexander W. - What is disheartening is that you boast yourself as a "Commissioned Officer Candidate" and you cant look in a freaking regulation. There are steps to follow before posting randomly on a PUBLIC SITE. 1) Look in the pay regulations. 2) contact your first line leader 4) contact your Unit Administrator 5) contact your financial institution and DFAS directly.
you did NONE of those things, you took the easy way out. Furthermore if you want information and you need to write a white paper on it, I'm fairly certain the Commanding General will not accept "Rally Point" comments as a valid source. So stop you whining. When myself an SSG L tried to gather more information all you stated was "nothing significant" That does not tell crap. Take a snippit of the entitlements and deductions, black out PII and let us help. oh... whats that cadet prayer: encourage us in our endeavor to choose the harder right rather than the easier wrong....
you are taking the easy way out....so, go follow steps 1-5 and complete a 10 page essay on what you learned.

MSG (Join to see) There’s no boasting nor whining on my part. And thankyou, your step 3 was most insightful.
