Will it be possible/feasible for my son to vote absentee (by mail) during OSUT (Infantry @ Ft Benning)?

MAJ (Join to see) He Better Be. I think it is the Law. Looks Like SSG (Join to see) has some Excellent Advice to ensure He Can.

Yes, I did it in 2012. Just have your son go to your town office before hand and request an absentee ballot, if they are not available at that time he can request that they send them to his current mailing address when they are available, you can then send the ballots to him at Sand Hill.

Yes, they have mail call at Infantry OSUT, with time to read the mail. Just like any other Army unit.

I'm sure they have mail call. Just wondering how reliable and timely the delivery is. Perhaps a different situation, but another son never received half the mail that was sent to him during Ranger School.
