I recently took over my new platoon.

Situation: The unit in the Reserve component was disbanded and was assigned to a new command. The transfer did not change the rater ( an E7), but placed them under the newly assigned 2LT as their SRater. Most Soldiers in the unit had more than 4 month worth of rated time in the previous unit.
Question: Does this change of unit and SRater suffice for a Change of Rater eval?

Thanks you for your responses. It will help a lot.

A Change of Rater is required when the Rater changes not the Senior Rater.

No.
There is an Optional Report that can be done - a Senior Rater Option.
Unless duties changed significantly or the rated Soldiers promotion board is imminent, I rarely recommend that report be done.

There is a senior rater option. Very few senior raters utilize it. It usually only occurs for especially good or especially bad NCOs in a particular circumstance. As long as the rater remains consistent, there are no issues.
