Beavers are like rats of the water ways so as far as being PC to hunt them, ridiculous. One could by beaver knock offs and watch the hat wilt and droup in the rain.

1LT L S on the contrary, I am putting them on. Our Squadron has Infantry and in Louisiana the 13 and 19 are interchangeable for assignment purposes.

The best thing about a Stetson is what many people don't understand. In order for it to fit properly, you need to sweat in them to get the sweatband wet, then let it dry to your head. This way it is a good perfect fit so even in the wind your hat will stay put. Also make sure you get the proper oval, there's a oval and long oval. When you buy your new Stetson, the first thing you do is put a dollar in side the sweatband. This way you are never broke. In caring for your Stetson, when it is wet (rain soaked), take it from your head and set it on a three pound coffee can and let dry. While it is still damp, gently insure the shape of your brim with your hands. You may have to do this a few times.

Also with a dry hat, if you need to reshape the brim, or you are dumb enough to set your hat down on the brim causing it to bend, put the tea kettle on and get some steam. Slowly work the part needing shaping over the steam back and forth until it is a little warm and damp, shape then dry.
