Can I take a promotion to E-5 in the NG while going through the medical board process?

Hi
I'm an E4 with Army NG, been in 5 years without any promotion. I've been on title 10 active duty orders for 2 years now. Currently in the medical board process. I submitted my E5 promotion packet before they sent me medical board process. My NG unit has a vacany and I assume they will pick me, or some NG unit from state wide will pick me as I have high promotional points. Can I take the promotion during medical board process. If yes how do I get a waiver for PT or BLC as I can't take PT test. Please help me. I want to take the promotion before I get out.

Can you please explain further. Who do I submit documentation to, I don't see a waiver for blc anywhere

See the Doctor who Sidney the P-3 profile. Obtain medical documentation (keep copies!) then, submit everything to BN PAC and ensure your Promition packet actually exists in your records. Make sure you have a copy of your Promotion packet. Also, make sure you are on the Standing List . Good Luck!CPL (Join to see)

Check and see if you have been put on medical hold. Are you on Title 10 or are you just on Title 10 orders with a termination date?

I'm in medical board process. I'm currently attached to warrior transition Battalion. After I demobed I was held back for medical treatment and after multiple surgeries they gave me p3 profiles and started the medical board process. WTB(MEDCOM) extends title 10 orders once every 6 months. Current orders expire Oct 5.

CPL (Join to see) a friend of mine was in the same situation. They would not promote him until he was cleared by the medical board and returned to his State.
