You made it! You are here , reading this right now. Despite all the close calls and times when you thought you couldn't make it, you did. What is it that got you to this point? Was it God? Faith? Luck? Fate? Sills ? Training? Loved ones? Physical strength? Mental agility? A combination of those?

I survived being tortured for the first 12 years of my life by a violent alcoholic , drug addicted felon. I survived my own suicide attempt. I survived a bad marriage to a woman who put me down much of the time . I attribute my resilience to a combination of all things listed above. Primarily God. It's why I am serving today. My life is a give back.

What have you survived ? How? What makes YOU so damned resilient?

Because I crashed and burned, and the only way to see is up, and quitting is not an option.

Believe it or not I credit Sgt Kiefer who was my Drill Sargent in '68.
He taught me....
1) Maintain a positive mental attitude
2) Believe you are tougher than you think you are.
3) If you can get thru Wednesday, you can get trough it all
