I love my country. It's why I serve her. I love my God. It's why I serve him. I love the freedom of religion in this country. But when I see any particular religion married to national pride, I get concerned. What dangers are there in blending religion and patriotism too much ?

Patriotism... devoted love, support, and defense of one's country; national loyalty.

So... I believe... NEVER.

Politicians confuse the two tho. All of them.

Right now is the time to build morale and for very apparent reasons and the liberal attack on patriotism is nothing short of treasonous. It is not that people are called out for going overboard like some veterans and SMs who are contentious with the stolen valor gang but the military does need a shot in the arm.

Yeah, I agree with this. As I said, the politicians might confuse the two... but as a general consensus, I believe we know the difference. Well the SM's and Veterans do at least.

It is becoming fashionable to bash veterans and this is a symptom of that. All these gains SMs and Vets have made being undone by the Michael Moore adherents and most liberals do agree with Moore. They talk out of both sides of their mouths.
