Would you rather your child be less attractive and extremely intelligent or extremely attractive and less intelligent?

I have fallen in love with some beautiful, some intelligent, and some beautiful and intelligent people.
What I cannot abide are stupid, unkind, and/or cruel men and women. I would rather live with dog/cat.
Oops, I missed first part of your question. My children should be a product of love, kindness, and compassion. In this instance intelligence and beauty are secondary considerations. I just want them to be joyous in who they become.

To answer the question, I would prefer my children to be intelligent.
However, I am more concerned with my children being reared properly and growing up to be well rounded gentleman who contribute to our society. My biggest wish for my children is that they are confident in themselves and their decision. And that whatever they choose to do they find happiness.
I would not consider myself extremely attractive nor extremely intelligent but I sure have a great life and consider myself to be one lucky man who has a beautiful wife and two awesome boys!

SFC Drake, I'd say less attractive and extremely intelligent. Intelligence doesn't fade, can't be bought or sculpted, and makes him successful enough that his looks don't matter. Fortunately, any progeny of mine doesn't have to choose. ;)

And over the long haul, you will not always have your looks, but you will always be you -- so I'd have to prefer intelligence to looks.
If you marry a woman based on looks alone, at some point you will wake up next to her and want to have a conversation. If she's a total ditz, you're not going to be happy.
Looks are superficial and only take you so far in life. The older you get the less important looks are, because after gravity hits NOBODY is looking as good in their 50's and 60's as they did in their 20's! LOL
