I have done Three tours to Afghanistan already. Feb 2010- March 2011, Nov 2011, - March 2013 , and a few months in 2014. I wouldn’t have made it through the first one if it wasn't for the Afghans we lived with. How do I get back over there to help them.

There is no legal way of getting there. And even if there was, there won't be.

You can't right now. What you can do is support those we evacuate. I posted something from the American Legion yesterday about how to help translators get out. I will try to find and repost for you.

Thank you sir. I will do what I can here for the time being but there has to be a way. I don’t accept your answer if you can’t right now. I’m not talking about going over with the military. Their hands are tied. I’m looking to join a group or team that can get things done. I know it’s possible because it’s already happening.

I cannot and will not encourage you to go. I can tell you that it is unlikely you will find support or a contact for going over here on RP

It looks like the evacuation might be done before you could get there. If you have been discharged from the military, then look for veteran and other groups working to get Americans and Afghans out. Several have been featured on Fox News during the last few days. Their stories are compelling and they may welcome you help.
