Have you found a career that serves a higher purpose since transitioning?

I was very fortunate after coming home to find a career as a Financial Planner. I've hired 2 other Vets this year and placed 4 others with different companies they were better suited for.

I have worked at several careers since "transitioning". Even in retirement I began a new one as a full time author. All were challenging. All offered varying degrees of financial reward and satisfaction. However, none served "a higher purpose" than my military service. I never expected that any could...

Yes, I have found that that "higher purpose" in my job with the DHS Office of Inspector General.
