I have gone through the 2 day training and have the entire group of slides, but that is too much for NCODP. Hoping to not have to recreate the wheel. My plan is for a two part NCODP, first on the support form, then the NCOER process. Anyone willing to let me 'aquire' your product? The National Guard goes live in January, hoping maybe some of our Active Duty 1SGs have already 'skinned this cat'. Thanks.

Like your thought process 1SG (Join to see) . Going to re-think my plan like yours, but one level higher. Since my SSGs will be rating the most NCOERs in my unit, will have them give the classes, then my PSGs organize it. Tell them that they will be in front of the Troop instructing, would hope that lights a fire of excellence (usually does).

Your plan of a writing assignment, definitely going to happen! Some of the stuff I have seen on NCOERs for my 5+ years as a 1SG, shocking to say the least. And we are only talking bullet comments :)

I know this post is over a year old. However, do any of you happen to have an updated version of the PPT that I can use?

1SG Jeffrey Grice - would it be possible to take the slides you got from your 2 day training and break them up into the two part training you outlined? I do agree that splitting up the NCODP into two parts will be more beneficial to your NCOs rather than overwhelming them with all the changes and processes at once.

SGT Ben Keen That will be the plan if no one already has a product put together. Like I mentioned, trying to not re-create the wheel if someone has already taken the time.

1SG Jeffrey Grice - Makes total sense. Just wasn't sure if the slide you saw would be to much information given at once or whatnot. Lord knows that when new policies are created the training slides sometimes are longer than War and Peace!
