Is the 82nd Airborne Division Choir a TDA unit or is it a part of the Band?

Noticed them on the news for being in a contest. Had different flashes on their berets. I would think they would be in Band company. USMA singers are part of the USMA band* and Sea Chanters part of the Navy band, so I wonder.

They're most likely Borrowed Military Manpower from across the division on a tasking.

Although the official designation is "82d Airborne Division Band", they are fully known as the "82d Airborne Division 'All-American' Band & Chorus" since late 2016.
Serving in the Chorus is a two-year special duty assignment if selected (they hold auditions several times a year). The chorus has a authorized strength of 30 individuals.

MAJ Ronnie Reams - All the units of the 82d have their own flash. Since the Soldiers are on a special duty assignment with the chorus, I assume they were the flash of their unit they are permanently assigned to.

MAJ Ronnie Reams sir, they are BMM so they maintain their flash and crest of their assigned unit within the 82nd.
