My husband stabilized for 18 month at our current duty station in January and my branch manager told me I can be slotted at a new duty station by December. I’m the higher rank and we’re in the MACP. Is waiving a stabilization even possible or will I have to go without him?

The key phrase here is : Current wants and needs of the Army. Yes he can, but no guarantee.

Can your husband waive his stabilization? Yes.
Does this mean your husband will PCS with you if he does? No.

Being in the MACP does not mean that you will automatically PCS at the same time or even to the same location. Being enrolled means that you will automatically be considered for a joint assignment together. However, assignment depends on what's available at the location, rank, etc. - all the normal factors that go into consideration for an assignment.

Although they should have the information available to him, just remind your branch manager that you're in the MACP and to ensure your husband is considered when he starts looking for your next assignment.

I assume your husband is a junior enlisted Soldier (E1-E4) (although he may be an E-5 and you have DOR on him), so the big plus in your favor is he is very much in the "round peg in the round hole" possibilities of assignment (unless he is one of those extremely low density MOSes like a Railway Operations Crewmember or such).

Hey sir! Thanks for answering. He’s an E4 and he’s a 92F (fueler) I spoke to my Branch Manager this afternoon and he was saying he can get in contact with my husband’s Branch manager to see if there would be any open slots around my PCS date so we can possibly get slotted together. But he said we also need to talk to Retention about renegotiating his stabilization. I just wasn’t sure if that was even possible so I wanted to get a little insight before we actually spoke to anyone.
