Can our children understand the importance of the Freedom we chose to defend?

A young boy stands through the rain with a flag to honor Staff Sgt David Wyatt. This picture says more than could ever be put into words. This young boy is the son of one of the Patriot Guard Riders. God bless this young man. This picture gives me hope just as the young man in France standing on the beach of Normandy, till he could no longer. I feel there is hope.

I fear some times that few are getting that message. due to so many in this country who's point of view is "The Flag is not sacred i'ts just a flag" mentality. Nearly all service member children I feel get it as they suffer our absence to defend it, a painful and very real thing to a child of any age.
