The Army will be celebrated it's 250 Birthday on June 14, 2025. What are some of the most important event, historical moments, challenges, wars, or changes that have shaped and happened to the United States Army over it's existence?

Thank you to all the RallyPoint Members (Brothers and Sisters) who have served in the US Army or who are still serving today! Hope you all had a Happy 250th Birthday!

This is a great question for our History Buffs out there in RallyPoint!

I don’t have the credentials of a Military scholar, barely graduated High school, but in my nearly eighty years on this planet have read extensively about our Nation’s armed services, authors as Bruce Catton whose Civil war narratives first interested a screwed up teenager, how governments and generals didn’t always use the forces effectively leading to heavy loses in combat. The later battles and campaigns in WW1,WWII,Korea,Vietnam the seemingly endless wars in the Mideast, again and again our forces ill prepared with muddled goals still brought victory to the field, for the individual warriors had that base of the American can do spirit and would not let down the man on the left or right, saw it first hand in the jungles of Vietnam, Welcome Home Brothers.
