"his is the ultimate story of courage and brotherly love that even Hollywood could not make up. It is a story of a miraculous volunteer rescue mission, during the Vietnam war, that one Paratrooper undertook to rescue a comrade in which he owed his life to. It took 13 years before this amazing story surfaced and the Paratrooper, MSG Roy Benevidez ultimately was awarded the Medal of Honor."

RallyPoint Shared Content He, like all MOH recipients, is the real deal. I got to meet him at West Point, when the dedicated a room to him. Amazing man and his citation is off the chain.

What a brave soldier and he deserves every one's salute and respect. He is a true hero! I hope that someone will make a movie of what he did in Vietnam. It sure as hell would be a great inspiring movie.
Outstanding! ATTENTION, HAND SALUTE!

I Love this man MSG Roy Benevidez! He is truly a humble and ferocious leader that represents everything that is a Non Commissioned Officer, a true leader and a National Treasure!
