I am in the Army National Guard and awaiting promotion to 1LT. My FEDREC status shows 102 days in the approval process with NGB. However, I work with a WO1 who is on the same list as I am and just received promotion orders in iperms this morning. Is it reasonable to expect that my promotion will publish soon as well? Or is there some difference in the process between WO's and LT's? Thank you.

If you're both on the same FEDREC Scroll, and he just received his promotion orders, then you should expect yours in the near future.
Unlike promotion lists from a centralized board, FEDREC scrolls can, and usually do, contain multiple different commissioned ranks. The list is approved en masse by the approval authority (SECDEF or POTUS, depending on the rank).
If there was an issue with your promotion (hypothetically), then the entire list would be delayed (usually momentarily) until a decision is made to proceed or to remove your name from the list. If that had happened, then you would (should?) have been notified that you were removed.

2LT(P) Sean D. - If you can figure out the NG and reserve officer promotions, you will be far ahead of where I ever was in that game. I was active my entire commissioned life, and 1LT came 18months from when you started AD, on schedule. CPT was needs of the Army, and I pinned at 38months with some promoting at 36 months. That is not a typo, we were in the heat of Iraq and Afghanistan, and the army needed nurses.

COL Randall C. LTC Trent Klug I remember the list and I have my Promotion Paperwork, but I forget. Maybe these Officers recall the procedure?

Have you completed BOLC yet? Long story short, we have 1LT in our unit that recently received his promotion and we found out that's what was holding his promotion up. Once he completed BOLC, he get promoted within a month of getting back.

Yes, I finished BOLC in December of 2024. I hit my 18mo TIG in Feb 2025. My packet started moving through the state that same month. I was able to find out recently that my scroll has been at the Sec of War level for a few weeks now, so it should be any day. I've just been confused about my warrant coworker being on the same scroll, but promoting 2 months ago. Maybe she was mistaken about what scroll she was on.
