As long as the idiots in the Ivory Tower keep fiddling with uniform changes then it makes it that much harder to establish credibility. How many times have my Marine, Soldier and Airman Brothers giggled at the Stupidity of the Navy Sea-bag?
Give Sailors a comfortable, durable and nautical looking uniform. The only problem with Dungarees were the pants. All they needed were legitimate pockets. The new dungarees were excellent, the coveralls were excellent. But the Aquaflag is simply stupid at every angle.
With regard to women's uniforms, follow the pattern of the male working uniform. I don't have to wear a skirt, why should they? For dress, I'm full on okay with a female cracker jack. But only if the pants are equally disturbing for overweight female Sailors as they are for overweight guys. And yes, the Dixie cup for both should be the case. I am proud of my dixie cup and keep one on my shelf with all my other ballcaps.

PO1 Don Hand, As a Ret'd Soldier, I must protest! Our USMC does not change uniforms everytime someone in the Pentagon cannot/does pass gas! Thank Heaven and the Corps for being true!
If only the USN and the Army could refrain from swapping uniforms, covers and colors everytime they get a chance!
