There are plenty of obstacles out there for veterans seeking employment. Misconceptions about PTSD within the military, experience vs education. Here are a few helpful tips for us, yes this includes me, older veterans.

Try to keep any allusion to your age out of the convo, don't use age markers in email addy or correspondence. There is definitely age discrimination out there even if it is unintentional.
