This as a Patriot Guard Rider Mission Notification for an active duty funeral here in the Shreveport/Bossier City area this week. If you are local, please consider attending to show support for a fallen comrade.

MSgt. Sheilah J. Player was born on May 15, 1976 in Maryland and passed away on February 12, 2015. She had been in the Air Force for 17 plus years and was stationed in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by a son and one daughter and her parents.

I understand your point and agree. Yet I can't help but believe that having one thread to gravitate to in order to check the listings would be a benefit to those searching for information. There is nothing wrong with having individual threads for members we know well and this is a good thing - I think the site would benefit if in addition there was one thread (a clearing house so-to-speak) to gravitate to in order to seek this information in general. I know that, try as I might, I do not run across many discussions I could have taken part of but missed by days or even months because it did not pop up in my feed. If there was one central place to add a link , then you could actively cross over to that specific discussion from the central discussion starting point.
Regardless, thank you for giving me additional information I would not have found otherwise.
