A person convicted of spying for China is warning those studying abroad not to agree to receive money and friendship in exchange for espionage activities.

A new cold war? What countries do you believe are targeting our Nation? Is this topic relevant today?

I have been hearing quite a lot on NPR lately about the Chinese Cyberwarfare Unit. Fascinating. I guess the 2nd Oldest Profession is still going strong just now all out in the Digital World. I wouldn't probably be able to keep up anymore but almost makes me home sick to go back into the field.

They have been stealing government and trade secrets for a long time. It seems they are always grooming students and businessmen to be their informants.
Like every OPSEC briefing I give, "90% of foreign intelligence is derived from unclassified sources."

Nothing new really. I remember getting the SAEDA/OPSEC brief back in 2000 at the outset of my first tour in Korea.
