The U.S. government wants to scrap the A-10 Warthog which has been very successful in fighting ISIS. In fact, it terrifies them.

Comments made by Major General James Post, Vice Commander of Air Combat Command, that “anyone who is passing information to Congress about A-10 capabilities is committing treason” has sent shock waves through the USAF and the military ranks in general. As a result, there is a growing demand for congressional hearings on the matter.
Does anyone expect for the Air Staff and their LocMart cheerleaders actually believe that the F-36 s capable of taking over the A-10 CAS mission?
Its a crying shame when politics rule the day instead of sober decision making in regards to our national defense. The Air Force that I proudly served is becoming a hollow PC shell compared to what it once was. That alone is a national tragedy.
