After completing RASP 2, how long would I have until I must go to Ranger School?

I wanna get into ranger bat. By the time I get a slot to go I’ll be an e6 35f . My question is after completing rasp 2, how long would I have or would I get until I have to go to ranger school?

From my understanding the Ranger Blue Book states you have to go within 18 months of getting into batt

You could go when you’re ready. Although Ranger School is important, your particular MOS has a bit more leeway than some of the others like 11B, 68W, 25U and 13F. Generally speaking they go between 6 months to a year after graduating RASP.

You’ll go pretty quickly once assigned, they don’t particularly want non-tabbed senior NCOs (even as a 35F).

SGT, Have you requested Orders for the Regiment? If so I am sure after you complete RASP 2. They will have you slotted to go after some preparation.
