Aging
Worried about getting old? Who isn't -- except perhaps those who are already unmistakably there. Survey after survey shows the elderly are more content with life, less depressed, and less fearful of death than the young.

What's your fear of getting older?

The cycle of life is my fear. At 46 I can still hang with my 18 year old but it is getting harder. My goal is to stay healthy and fit as long as I mentally can. I want to be able to teach my future grand children.

At this point, getting too old to hold my Harley Davidson Motorcycle up and ride it past 85 years old! The other, is using all of my military retirement to pay for my children's college education, and hoping Congress doesn't screw that up - It is what it is!

I'm already gray in the beard and bald on top. That doesn't bother me. I'm dreading the day I can't do the active things I enjoy any more. I'm only 51 and I'm stiff as hell when I get out of bed in the morning, and not in the right places. After about 20 minutes of being up and about I'm usually good to go, but it has me wondering how 80 year olds even get out of bed.

"Though I have known mortal fear I have never let it unman me. Save me from dying sick in bed"

Kinda sums it up for me.
