Air University Press will be posting openings for 2 project editors: GS12 slots at Maxwell AFB. Anyone know of folks who may be interested?

The primary purpose of this position is: to perform professional-level
research, writing, and editorial duties and to serve as a team leader
within the Air University (AU) Press publication system. The major
duties include:

•Plan and prepare new texts and revise exiting ones. Identify target
audience, objective, and scope of projects in conference with authors,
subject matter experts, and other personnel.
•Deal effectively with authors and project officers to develop and
improve manuscripts, to coordinate changes, to monitor and report
project status, and to meet customer expectations.
•Act as a consultant and troubleshooter to management, faculty, and
other personnel from AU schools and academic agencies on planning,
design of instructional materials and other issues for publications.
•Maintain currency in word processing programs used by AU Press.
