"The paranoia spreading within AQAP was fully exposed this week when the members of that branch of Al Qaeda’s international organization publicly executed four men in Yemen who they accused of being ‘spies’ for the U.S. and Saudi Arabia."

Could this drive the five HVT's (that were released in trade for Deserter Bergdhal) into hiding....if not, I am sure we have five well-equipped, recently fueled drones prepared to lessen their payload of weapons....

CSM Michael J. Uhlig, isn't it amazing that this administration released them when we had them and yet hunts them down with drones once they are back in the field?

Seems to me that .223 rounds are cheaper than Hellfire missiles and would accomplish the same end.

I bought 1,000 rounds of .223 (62 grain) when I was on leave at less than 40 cents a bullet

Is it too much to hope that maybe they will declare war on one another? Then again, why do I have this bad feeling that if that were to happen we would suddenly find ourselves supporting one side or the other?

There's definitely some in-fighting going on but I don't think we will be lucky enough to cheer on both sides then crush the winner.

They will buy guns and weapons of all sorts either from the USA or Russia to fuel the fire that burns in that region. It seems to me that there are a lot of bad guys out there. Wasn't it about the Taliban then Al Qaeda, the National Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS and what's next to take their place?

I don't think they are cracking, there is however a huge power struggle going on.
