My wife and me are big fans of American Ninja Warrior. It is a challenge that even the best athletes fail to accomplish. From Crossfitters, Firefighters, Police Officers, Trainers, people with different deceases to Military Sevice Members, Veterans and EVERYTHING between give it a shot to finish the course of a few, very hard demanding events. This Monday is the Military Edition, I can't wait to see how our brothers and sisters in arms make in this next episode.
Do you follow American Ninja Warrior? Have you even think about giving it a try? How well do you think you could do it? Here's a glance of what we can expect: https://youtu.be/CyC6GOq7x0w

Last year a video went viral after a 5'1" female pass the challenge, since then we've been hooked up with the program.

I remember that video. I didn't know it was that old. I just saw it a few months ago.

I really enjoy when an underdog stands in for the challenge and pass it. Sometimes, because of their background story, it gets emotional. Last week an autistic boy tried it, he didn't pass the first event but you can tell that that was a warrior there.

I saw that it is a great story. I especially like the walk on's when they shock the announcers. The guy who went from KC to Pittsburgh to participate and successfully got up the wall.

Sir, what I really like about this series is names like Dana Lin Bailey, first ever Mrs. Olympia Figure, Felice Herrig ex UFC Fighter, and so many other big names have tried and failed. Then comes a guy that overcomed a decease and because of his will strength is capable of finishing, at least, the qualifying course. Some competitors come with a great story.

CPT (Join to see) I have a question, for an AD SM, since this challenges could bring an injury quick and easy, how does it works if a Soldier wants to enter? Does the CO have to give the approval? I'm not fixing to do it but, I'm curious about how it would work if a SM tries it and get injured.

I would run it through the chain of command. Sometimes the Army will support you for doing something like this. But if you are scoring a 180 on your APFT and you tell them you want to do ninja warrior I am sure it won't go down well. They could stop you really by ordering you not to go bu soldiers do stuff that is far more dangerous. The tricks is to get the leave to do something like this.
