Anyone out there attending AMU? I am interested to see if anyone is either a current student, or graduated. What has been your experience if you graduated with the job market? Did your degree hold water with your peers? What was your experience with the school itself? Was it a good experience, or a bad one. Did anyone start there and transfer somewhere else? I am aware that it is a for-profit school.
I am a current student and wondered what light RP can shed on the school.

I attended AMU from 2007 to 2008. I personally did not like AMU's style of learning. I have just started at Colorado Technical University and love the format here. At CTU there is usually two live chats a week and there is a lot more interaction with the faculty then there was at AMU. I can't tell you how a degree from AMU stands up as I am still in the Army and did not get a degree from them as well.

I attended AMU from 2009-2011 and earned my Associates from them, a lot of it depends upon you the student as to whether you would like them, I liked the freedom that I had to complete my assignments and submit as soon as possible as well as if I needed assistance from the instructor it was there. Some need more contact I suppose, but for me I was more than happy.

I enjoy the freedom of online school. I don't have any other colleges to compare it against, but I'm planning to put a little more work into networking as I move closer to degree completion.
This should be tagged under "American Military University" or "AMU."

I am currently attending AMU. I'm not a huge fan of classroom instruction (receiving, since I do teach at USNA), so the interaction and format are not a huge deal to me. Even online though some classes just have a better chemistry than others.

I was an AMU student and while the content for my major was good, the style of learning and the lack of serious student/instructor interaction is what led me to find another school.
