I can't believe i am just now learning this. we worked together so many times. Last time I saw him, I was in the dfac making a cake for the Army Birthday and he kept checking on the cake. 2 months before he died, I got out the Army and went to Canada. I talked to so many people in Fort Stewart, nobody ever mentioned that. Man we can't take life for granted. I would give anything to have a last conversation with this man. RIP SSG Chisolm!!

I hate to see a young soldier die doing something they love. It is unfortunate. Prayers are out to the family.

Not personally, but had a Ranger killed at one of the lakes at a place called Camp Grayling, a few weeks after we had had our annual AT one year.

When I was a 2LT (1993?), one of my fellow Platoon Leaders and his Platoon Sergeant were both killed in a training accident at NTC. Their Bradleys went over the edge of a wadi, and both were killed instantly. They were the leadership team for our Scout Platoon.
