I am looking at ATRRS, and I see your name reserved for this course in UT, under an Active Army Inservice quota, starting ph 1 on 4 OCT, ph 2 on 8 NOV and ph 3 on 9 JAN graduating on 21 JAN, and an Xmas break of 22DEC-8JAN.
You have two other Active Army Soldiers scheduled with you so far, out of 11 possible active Army seats.
There is nothing wrong with your school reservation, this has been going on for years now.
Per SFC (Join to see) , you are TDY enroute.
And pay attention at your levy brief, when they talk about scheduling your PCS move as soon as possible, take their advice and do exactly that, and exactly how they describe it.

I can't thank you enough for the detail, yesterday I was from 10 am to 1520 waiting to reenlist, and I couldn't because they didn't have access to ATRRS, and the NCO that had access was not in the battalion, thank you very much for the information and help, and to all who responded.

The course is TDY enroute. You're going to the one in Utah because it's a National Guard run course. You should receive your follow on assignment soon, talk to retention. Process your levy packet, get your orders, take them to your DTS for a manual DD1610.
There's nothing more you can do until you get your assignment and process your levy packet.

SPC (Join to see) people say that because their only experience with AIT was when they first joined. Your retention is correct, this is a retention action, they have complete control over your assignment. Well, not your Career Counselor specifically, but Retention and Reclassed branch at HRC.

If this was an outside the window reclass, you should be coming on assignment no later than 4 August. If you don't have an assignment by then, you need to go to your Career Counselor and request one.

AR 600-8-11 has a section in there about TDY while PCSing. That applies to you, you'll have to choose one of those options. If you have family, you can usually return after class to clear. If you don't, or you're going to Korea, you clear before school. Even if you return to clear it's still considered TDY Enroute

SPC (Join to see) I have seen so many "helpful" NCOs at the company level screw Soldiers over because they thought they knew my job better than me. The Soldiers trusted their NCOs and listened to them instead. They ended up with additional frustration, their families were frustrated and stressed, and they were placed in financial difficulty.

If you do this incorrectly, you'll find that you are financially responsible for the cost of your training and travel to and from training. That means the flight, the rental car if you're authorized one, if you have to live off post or in lodging that's four months of hotel fees, and per diem for food, or BAS you're missing.

Listen to your Career Counselor and follow the instructions on your orders. Ask questions in your levy brief, someone else has the same question. If you're still confused after that, come back here and ask

Looking what on Google that I am finding, the training is 18 weeks with On The Job Training at Ft Huachuca. As for specifics on instructions you will need to follow, you may want to go over those emails again to ensure you didn't perhaps miss any important steps of instructions. Normally, when a Soldier on Active Duty ends up reclassing, it is usually a TDY En Route, which means you will need to clear your base because you will have a follow-on assignment upon completion of the course.

IOT get as much accurate information as you can, get with your Schools/Training NCO to get into ATRRS to look up 35L in there. That is where you will find the most accurate information. Also, if you have not done so, find your nearest Intel unit office and ask to speak with a CI Agent there. And if there isn't one there, ask if you can get the POC for the office in which they are located.

Thank you very much for your response, I have read the emails over and over again and I cannot find additional information, but what confuses me the most is that it is not in Huachuca, it is in Utah, in Camp Williams and from what I saw it is an ARNG training center, and I'm RA, I don't know...everything is very confusing....

SPC (Join to see) - I know sometimes that can happen due to time and budget...but I've no answer for that. Again, get into ATRRS to what that says. You could also contact the school house at Williams. If it isn't in the emails....here is the link
