Starting very early on planning my transition once I ETS. Recently I've come across two Facebook accounts that advertise themselves as MOSJobs.com and ShooterJobs.com. As it stands you have to pay just to be able to search the jobs they have listed on there starting at $10/month. If I recall correctly, not even USAJobs.gov charges to search for federal jobs. I'm assuming it's to search for private contractor jobs but again it's just a job search. Would any of you pay for something like that or have had experience in using it? I feel as though it may be a scam but please correct me if I'm wrong. The websites almost look like those websites that have been offering Student Loan Debt relief and end up charging students for a service which doesn't even guarantee they indeed get "relief" which is what led me to believe it could be a scam.

Speaking purely from the time that I ETSed, don't spend money on this type of job hunting service, especially those you find on Facebook !! Don't forget that Facebook targets ads to your browsing history. Those sites are very rarely legit, and if they are, they offer jobs that are outside of your area, or outside of your skill set.
If you feel like it may be a good site, before you use it, do 2 things: #1. Google it - Find out what other people have to say about the company and its' results. #2. Find out where they are from and contact the local Better Business Bureau to see if any complaints have been lodged against this company. The problem is that companies like this one can change their names over night and open the next day in a nearby city, under a different name.
It's best to stick to a company that a friend has already used in the past, is recommended by the DOD or VA, or just do it the old old fashioned way, and get out there with your resume and, "shake the trees until something falls out".

I did just that before posting this question and couldn't find squat on them. They don't have any Terms & Co fictions posted and the only way to contact them is through email. No names, phone numbers, directors, committee board, nothing.

SGT Gary Lavagnino - It seems like your instincts to be concerned are steering you well. What you describe is very odd.

I usually try and do my own research beforehand Sir. Just thought I'd poke around for information since I have this networking tool available. Hopefully it serves to others to lookout for websites like these that could potentially start targeting Veterans as the draw down in the Army starts getting heavier.
They are absolutely garbage!!! I signed up on 22 July 2016-22 January 2017. I canceled after a month (so I didn't get hit with recurring fee of $50). They still debited my PayPal and when I called informed me I signed a contract and should have canceled. I did cancel and thought I was good SMDH. They refused to refund my money and now I have 6 more months of a shitty service I don't want and won't use and I'm out a total of $100. All they do is copy and past jobs nothing more. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! They don't even have a phone number.
