Do you belong to any clubs? (WPMA) how often do you get to go out?
Here in Washington I've got lots of flour gold, some course stuff and occasional nuggets (kinda rare) but it's fun to get some yellow in your pan.

never panned for gold, always wanted to. We go down to Southern Idaho every Spring to hunt for Elk sheds in the Challis Nat. Forest. There is Just a ton of old mines all through the moutains down there. Always thought some of the creeks would be good or even some of the old tailing piles.

It's a fun hobby for me. I drove through Idaho this summer and stopped at a few places. Took a couple of mine tours ( one silver and one gold) they were cool to see. I'd like to come back through some time and try again!

My Uncle is VERY into it. I can get you in contact with him if no one here bites. I don't know how much he does in Washington though, they have a second home in Arizona.

That would be nice, thank you Sir. Other subject mater experts help even if it's just a chat for advice.
