I turned my IOTV in at Ft Hood with the plates and the IOTV (wrong size too) is on my OCIE record still. I do have my signed 3161 listing I turned it in with the plates and my supply NCO is saying I may have to contact Ft Hood directly. Anyone else have this issue?

Make several copies of the 3161. Maybe even do a MFR saying you informed your unit that the items are still on your record after turn-in.
I would attempt to contact Hood CIF by email but if they take no action have your unit do a FLIPL and provide them the 3161 and memo if you did it.

You already have some good advice already I would only add make this a priority to take care of get the corrected OCIE record ASAP. The longer you wait the more difficult it will be then one day you will be charged and it will be harder to fix. Time is very important with this. I know from experience.

Anyone have issues during DEMOB not having gear removed form their OCIE record?

That 3161 is all the ammo you need. You will need to email it (and by you, I mean your Supply SGT should probably be doing this) to a POC at the Fort Hood CIF while explaining (briefly) the situation. It’s common on the supply side of the house for human-error mistakes to be made in the system used for issue and turn-in of TA50. 99% of the time it can be resolved through documentation being sent to the CIF conducting the action without much else needed.

When I went through demob at bliss last October a lot of the gear we turned in we recieved at bliss and we had to have hand written turn in receipts. I believe they're 3161, I'd have to check my I Love Me book. But make copies. Send one to your supply SGT. See if you need to send one to hood.
