Anyone have surgery for carpal tunnel from the VA or just carpal tunnel in general? How long did it take for you to recover?

I'm going for my consult on the 16th and want to get this done ASAP. I am also in school until Dec. 13 so won't be able to write very well. I just want some input on what to expect. Thank you :)

Thank you Major, hopefully it will go well and he VA doesn't take one of my fingers instead lol! No the VA here is actually quite wonderful, they are some of the hardest working people I have ever seen.

Get it done by a plastic surgeon if possible. Orthopods, while extremely skilled, don't focus as much on scars as plastics guys do. I've seen very bad scar results from this type of surgery, and bad scarring can make things worse...

Shalom Rabbi, Oh my well while I'm going to school I have to use the VA for my Healthcare my whole arm goes numb when I'm driving and is scaring me to death. Thanks for the advice :)
