Are gas prices at your base AAFES Gas Station higher or lower than your city's average?

It is generally about the same or a few cents cheaper per gallon than off post. Not really worth waiting in long lines for, and there is almost always a long line waiting to get gas.

They diligently remain an average of the community rates. However, I can always find cheaper gas off base.

It goes back and forth. Sometimes gas is cheaper on base, sometimes it's cheaper at MAPCO or Walmart. If you shop at Winn-Dixie a lot you can get it cheaper than any of them.
