The price of gasoline has skyrocketed by $1.20 a gallon(30 cents a litre) in the last week in my part of Canada. They supposedly blame Refinery problems. Are you having this problem in the United States? I know California's governor idiot Moonbeam Jesuit wants to raise prices of gas with carbon tax to fund his Metro high speed rail so he can brag to Japan. The cost of this project in a broke state is insane. Cars are here to stay.

The price of gas has returned to its pre-hurricane Irma prices, and has been there for about two weeks. @2.229 is about average for the Tampa, area.

it's $5 a gallon here in Canada all of a sudden and converted to the exchange rate it's about $4.10. a week ago it was about $3 a gallon. So goes to show what socialism and liberalism does up here in Canada. The price of gas all goes up and down at the same time. That's one reason they were scared to death of Verizon coming to Canada because they knew prices of cell phone rates would drop by 1/3. I live in Canada. Luckily, I have a Verizon phone and the rates are okay because they have a US Mexico Canada plans

After Hurricane Harvey, gas spiked up and the public was told it would go down by Christmas. I noticed it this morning, it looks like it went back up 10 cents! It might not make to the levels it was before Harvey.

the Canadians did the same thing that took advantage of it and raise the price of gas about $0.15 a liter but then it went back down but all of a sudden it spiked back up so I found a local story that said it may be refinery problems but in Canada there is no discount price as there are no Arcos everybody has the gasoline at the same price and they go all up with the same price those some stations take longer but price gas here in Canada it's a monopoly. of course, you have your GD carbon taxes that liberals will say are there to save the earth but its there to actually helps fund the Treasury. nobody here in Canada is going to drive less with carbon taxes but they're going to raise the price of gasoline about 25 has a gallon over the next two years and I know California is doing the same thing. thank goodness president Trump won!

I’m in North Texas, way closer to OK than Houston - they minute the news reported one refinery down after Hurricane Harvey, everyone began a frenzy fueled by the media!!
I had to drive 20 minutes and wait in line for 30 at 11pm just to fill up my tank. The lines for gas were screwing up traffic everywhere in our little city pop. 165k. the following day prices went up by 40 to 55¢ a gallon.
Trust me when I said it was a media fueled frenzy! Most of those waiting at the pumps weren’t even down to half a tank, but those that were on fumes ran out in the ridiculous lines making it even worse!

.If you drive, you might get a bit of sticker shock at the gas pumps on Tuesday, with prices well above the one dollar mark. Many stations across the city are hiking their prices, with some getting a jump on things Monday afternoon. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/gas-prices-calgary-rise-tuesday-1.4379554
